Psyker, Inferno and dome
The horde answer. Inferno kills the chaff, the dome covers objectives and the moves between chokepoints, and the Psyker keeps an eye on the team's back.
Job
- Kill the chaff. The Inferno staff is the team’s main horde weapon. Havoc hordes are dense, with mutated poxwalkers mixed in and extra health and hit mass from
buff_horde, and fire does not care about hit mass. - Check that nothing is coming from behind. Push-from-behind horde strikes and rush prevention spawns arrive at the back of the team. The Psyker is the one who turns around.
- The dome is mainly for objectives, and for moving more smoothly from one chokepoint to the next. Hacking, holding a zone and carrying batteries leave the team standing still under fire. A dome covers that, and it covers the open ground between two safe positions.
- The duelling sword does great boss damage once the Veteran has put focus target on it.
Positioning
Behind the Ogryn, close enough to stay in coherency (8 m). From there, the Inferno reaches whatever stacks up in front of him, and you can turn and see the back.

“Clear behind.” “Something behind.” “Dome up.” “Dome down.” “Venting.” The team needs to know when the dome is unavailable before it starts an objective or crosses open ground.
