The director is counting your metres.
Every special, horde and captain in a Havoc run is paid for by the distance your team walks, and held back by the threat already chasing you. This guide reads the game's own code to show how that works, then turns it into a team comp, route maps and callouts for pugs.
At rank 30 the director keeps 13 specials alive at once, at rank 40 16. On Auric it is 8.
How the AI director works
Pacing states, why distance is the fuel, specials slots and coordinated strikes, hordes on a clock, and what each Havoc rank changes. Every claim links to the line of code it comes from.
The team comp
Bully Club taunt Ogryn, Inferno and dome Psyker, flamer and book Zealot, plasma, krak and shout Veteran. What each one is for and who handles which threat.
Route maps
Twenty Havoc missions with the real main path, drop-offs, scripted events in order, and the chokepoints and safe spots to hold.
Teamwork
Why the code hunts the player who is alone, what 8 m of coherency looks like, and a callout script for the first minutes with strangers.
